If you are in between sizes and have a standard width foot, we would recommend going for the smaller size.
If you are in between sizes and have a wider width foot, we would recommend going for the larger size.
NOTE: Our vintage collection boots (Lotti Elliot ankle boot & Evangeline Elliot knee high boot) come up a full size bigger. We would recommend you order a size down. For example, if you are a UK 5/EURO 38/US 7 you will need to order a UK 4/EURO 37/US 6. Unlike our other styles, this boot can cater up to size UK 9/EURO 42/US 11 if you order a UK 8/EURO 41.
If in doubt we would always recommend you measure your feet using the guide below and contact us at sales@houseofelliotcollection to confirm the right size for you.
- Stand on a flat piece of A4 paper, back and heels flat against a wall.
- Get someone else to draw around both feet. Choose the size that fits the larger of the two feet.
- Measure in centimetres.
- Consider the socks or tights you might wear.
- If you require a wider fit, try ordering a size larger.

Drawn from the elegant fashions of the Regency period, slipping into Lottie Elliot’s ankle high soft white lace and tying the delicate satin ribbon is a special experience. The finest materials will create a vision of playful vintage charm and are sure to have met with the approval of many a Jane Austen heroine!
Designed with a lower heel, padded leather insole and rounded toe, they will keep you comfortable throughout the day (and night!) and their flattering white lace is a perfectly sweet addition to a vintage themed wedding or event.
Their snowy lace will suit that most traditional of wedding gown colour, pure white, or for lovers of blush these are perfect for a blush gown too.
Only the finest materials are used in the making of our vintage boots, including the delicate double sided satin ribbon. As well as adding a playful and flirtatious detail, the ribbon allows you to adjust the boots to your ankle and lower calf width for the ultimate fit. Tying the ribbon up is also one of our favourite parts of the process, as it transports us straight back to that graceful bygone era of the Regency era.
These boots could also be the perfect choice for your bridesmaids!
Your boots will be delivered to you in a beautiful handmade box, so you will be able to treasure forever as a keepsake (or just to house them in between wears).
Lottie Elliot come up large so we recommend sizing down to the next size unless you have wide fit feet. If you are in between sizes we recommend sizing down. For more detailed sizing information, please visit our ‘sizing’ tab.
“Dear Nicole, the boots were an absolute delight, comfortable even after wearing them all day, walking and dancing. Everyone loved them and I had to keep pulling up my skirts because the guests demanded to see them. I cannot thank you enough!”
