Our delivery policy
🎄 Holiday Shipping Update – Please Read 🎄 Orders placed after December 16th, 2025 will be shipped after January 2nd 2026, unless a rush order is requested to sales@houseofelliotcollection.com in advance of placing your order. This is due to our standard processing time of 7–8 working days, as well as the closure of our studio on December 24th, 25th, and 26th, 31st and 1st of January for the holidays. If you need your order sooner, please contact us at sales@houseofelliotcollection.com for a Rush Order option for an extra charge which woul allow us to process your order within 3 to 5 working days (this still excludes weekends and the dates above). Thank you for your understanding and for supporting our small studio!
PREPARATION & DISPATCH OF YOUR ORDER
House of Elliot ships worldwide and has many happy Brides & Customers all over the world. All our boots, shoes and accessories are hand finished in our studio especially for you and we will contact you once we receive your order to advise you of the estimated delivery date and to confirm your size.
Updated August 22nd 2025 for US Customers:
U.S. orders ship DDP (delivered duty paid) – all duties and taxes are included, so nothing is due on delivery! We ship all US orders using a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service, which means shipping, duties, and any import costs are already included in your final checkout price.
Your boots will be delivered straight to your door with nothing more to pay on arrival.
ORDER PROCESSING
Order Processing (updated Aug 2025):
As each order is hand-finished in our studio our order processing times are between 5 to 7 working days. For shipping times once your order is processed please see the table further below.
If your order is urgent & needed before our standard order processing times please contact us at sales@houseofelliotcollection.com before placing your order to see whether we can help with a rush order for an extra charge.
We will always personally confirm your order and shoe size via e-mail within 24 hours of order receipt and advise as to an estimated dispatch date. Please check your Spam/Junk folder if you do not receive one from us.
ORDER TIMES
In stock orders: Stock levels are kept up to date on our website and if your product is in stock you can order directly online. We endeavour to prepare all orders which are in stock within 5 to 8 working days of receiving your order. However, during busy times or when there are longer lead times on our components this may be up to 10 to 14 working days (weekends don’t count as a working day) so we strongly advise placing your order at least 14 to 16 working days before you need your footwear. If your order is urgent or needed before the above order processing timescales please contact us at sales@houseofelliotcollection.com before placing your order and we can advise as to a rush order.
Out of stock orders: If your style & size is not in stock on our site please contact us at sales@houseofelliotcollection.com and we will advise as to delivery times. As our products are all handmade these can be between 8 to 12 weeks depending on demand.
DELIVERY COSTS & SHIPPING TIMES
We always ship with an express, tracked and insured shipping service which requires a signature upon receipt. DHL is our shipper of choice unless there is a location they cannot service. In the very rare event we can’t ship to your destination we will contact you as soon as possible from receipt of your order.
Once dispatched you will receive an e-mail from DHL with your tracking number and available alternative delivery options in your area.
Following the removal of the $800 de minimis threshold, all shipments to the U.S. are now sent using a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) service. This means that all duties and taxes are included in the product price, so you will not owe anything when your order is delivered. The shipping cost covers the DDP service, making international shopping simple and hassle-free.
Please note we do not deliver to PO Boxes as orders are dispatched via courier and require a signature.

Delivery costs vary on the destination and how many items you are ordering. Our delivery charges are listed below. Please note that if you wish to purchase one of our handmade lace garters with your footwear this will be included in your wedding keepsake box so no additional delivery costs apply.

Taxes and duties
Taxes & Duties are not covered by the delivery charge (apart from the USA, see below) and may be applicable depending on your shipping destination and you shall be liable for paying all duties & taxes on the shipment. Please note that we have no control over these charges and we cannot predict their amount. Please contact your local customs office for more information on what these charges may be. Simply Duty is a useful online tool to calculate whether any duty will be due, just select the ‘United Kingdom’ as the country you are importing from and your country as the country you are importing to. The first figure is the duty which will be due.
USA Orders: For orders to the USA we ship we ship DDP (delivered duty paid) – all duties and taxes are included, so nothing is due on delivery!
EU Orders: Now that the UK is no longer in the EU, you will have to pay the import VAT at your country’s rate for the import of goods into your country. House of Elliot has no control over these charges. We are also unable to cover these custom charges upfront as they are raised when the parcel reaches its destination or shortly thereafter and must be paid by the customer. Please use the Simply Duty tool to calculate what these may be. Please note that the courier may apply a one-off admin charge as well.
